While working there, she also won a prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award.
- Post that, Capps has also collaborated with KOTV-TV News on 6, located in Tulsa.
- In November 2018, following her work in Waco, Kylie got her next opportunity at KDFW/Channel 4, where she is on-air for Good Day Saturday from 7 am to 9 am and for Good Day Sunday from 6 am to 8 am. She replaced Jennifer Myers, who worked there for six years. Returning home to Central Texas was especially meaningful to her, as she always had incredible support from the Central Texas community since day one.

I knew a Jimmy Capps in the South Hills area of ft worth. He should be 68/69 by now could he be your uncle or dad. We went to elementary at south hills elementary. I think he played drums back then.

I am surprised Kylie is still with Fox…she is NOT what I would call a weather person. Her deliverance is terrible, and she thinks everything is funny. Maybe Fox should wake up. I never thought I would be going to another channel. We are not interested in her fashion statements or her hair. We all want accurate weather, not her snide comments!

I watch Fox 4 nearly every morning to start my day. I was wondering if Kylie Capps is the daughter or related to Mike Capps, a one time local anchor and reporter here in DFW area?
